GraphiStudio Album Sample

This sample album arrived today. I wanted it here for the end of November, and only requested it just over a week ago. Graphi really exceeded my expectations by getting it here so quickly. Let’s hope their customer service continues to be this good, because I love this album. It’s weighty, well made, beautifully printed and is an album that I’d be proud to present to my clients.

Nothing means as much as a thank you letter. Especially on a dark, wet, cold Kent day. I received this letter from Claire and Marc. It’s made my day!

Greenwich’s Old Royal Naval College – Great venue for a wedding.

I met a very good friend of mine for lunch today in Greenwich. We both have children the same age, and met online when we were expecting our first ones. She’s been fighting breast cancer for the last 9 months, and has been fighting with so much dignity and grace that her story reminds me every day to be grateful for everything that’s good in my life. Her story is here.

We share a love of photography, and both brought our cameras along today. This is my favourite shot of the day, the only thing missing is the bride and groom! Greenwich’s Old Royal Naval College is available for weddings, and would make an amazing backdrop. Information about the venue.

Claire & Marc – The Images

I loved this wedding, I loved Claire’s use of colour, and her and Marc’s shared sense of humour.  It was such fun! I love my job!

If someone had told me how tiring I’d find working as a wedding photographer, I’d have never believed them! But the day after any wedding, I’m useless.  I’m physically and mentally drained.  It’s that exhaustion that comes from knowing that you’ve worked really hard, and achieved something. Definitely a good type of exhaustion.

I hope that Claire and Marc are pleased with the results.

I loved this wedding, I loved Claire’s use of colour, and her and Marc’s shared sense of humour.  It was such fun! Definitely worth being tired the next day for.  I love my job!

I had a fantastic day working today. Claire & Marc are both such great fun, and so much in love.

Margate is also a cool place to get wedding photos. I’m hoping they’ll want a TTD session at some point, so we can make use of all that sea!

Rob and Jen’s Wedding

I was invited to attend this wedding, in the resort of Malcesine in Italy, and of course I was delighted to accept.

Rob and Jen are a lovely couple, they’ve been together from their teenage years, having met in Australia where Rob was playing tennis and Jen was doing some ecological work during her gap year. They share a love of travel, diving and the outdoor life. Their day was perfect!

Chris and Claire’s Wedding

I was lucky enough to be invited to shoot with Chris Gale of Storm Studios recently. Chris is a fantastic commercial photographer who only does weddings when he really wants to. He clearly holds Chris and Claire in high regard, and I can understand why, they are a fantastic couple, a joy to work with.

I just know that this is the start of a wonderfully happy life together for both of them.
